So moles are interested as that basically live under ground year round. They only sleep 4 hours and work 4 hours shifts, tunneling or feeding... It very rare that you will see them surface. Most yards only have one family consisting of up to 4-5 moles, but if you have activity that is in different locations of the yard at the same time, then you may have more than just 2 families. Moles do not mingle unless its mating season.
CHEWABLE starts at $95 (per Family)
We have several solution, but the most effective & cheapest is a chewable that we physical place in there tunnels. The chewable gives off a order that attracts worms & insects to the area. These insects will hover around the chewable. The chewable is not the moles natural food source, but the eat the insects around, and are unaware that they just eaten the chewable. The chewable will expand in the mouths causing the jaw to lock open. The starve to death. Yes, I know it is a bad way to go. Even worse is if they do swallow the chewable, they are unable to pass through there digested system. Sometimes the moles stroke out and die in the surface tunnels. This will actual cause the remaining survivors to leave the area immediately, normal another section of your yard or the neighbors
$95 8 chews (2 chews per mole).
This procedure can be used Anytime of the year.
FLUSH OUT starting at $350 (1/4 acre)
Humane way without chewable or traps. Its a liquid chemical we spray into the ground, plus a dry chemical that is spread on top of the yard with a yard spreader. Then we water the yard for 15 minutes. They should be all gone by the next day.
Can be used anytime of the year, as long as we have access to your water.
DROWNING METHOD starting at $400
We locate the holes tunnels leading to there Dens.. Then hook up several garden ho's but before turning them on, we have a yard roller that we pull around the yard behind a riding lawn mower to flatten all the tunnels, and to scare them to there dens. Then turn the water on. They will surface or drown. When they surface we can net them into a 5 gallon bucket and relocate them. Plan on about 100 gallons of water being used from your water source.
Temps above 70 only
LIVE TRAPS starts at $100 week (3 traps)
A more humane way of catching the critters without harming them. Catch & Release. The traps are about 12 inch long and 1.75 diameter. Need to be check once a week. The traps are burred & connected to there tunnels. Live crickets are place in the traps to lure the moles right in.
These traps only work in warmer months so the crickets don't dye off from colder weather.
SELF LIVE TRAPS starting at $150
You purchase the trap. This trap is like the one above, but this one they are forced into a plastic container that sits on the surface. You can dispose of them.
These traps work better with life crickets, so best odd of catching moles are in the warmer months.
DOG SUPPORT, starting at $300
We use a Bagel that are good at finding moles. The moles dig & feed slightly moving the surface tunnel. We can't see them, but the dog does, and pounces, capturing the mole. Starts at $300, & $25 per mole.
Anytime of the year above 40 degrees.
12 MONTH PLAN $800
We conduct two methods monthly to keep moles out of your yard. Chewable & Flush Out Methods, unless you have a preference. March - Feb
